A hands-on science museum for Central PA

Dominion Science Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides hands-on education and enrichment opportunities to families in the Central Pennsylvania region.
Although we do not yet have a permanent location, you can visit us and enjoy our traveling exhibits at several summer venues in the State College Area.  Each summer since 2001, DSC has taken exhibits and a small petting zoo to the Special Olympics at Penn State and to the Peoples' Choice Arts Festival in Boalsburg.  In 2008 we added Memorial Day (in Boalsburg) and Spring Creek Days (at Millbrook Marsh) to our list of venues. During the rest of the year, our exhibits are in storage.
Parents have given a big "thumbs up" for DSC every summer.  Their children will literally spend hours in our activity tent.  They often ask us where we are located so that they can come visit later in the year.  Sadly, we have to tell them that all our exhibits go into storage.  We'd like to change that. Our goal is to have a summer site by 2010 (where we can set up for 8 weeks or so) and a permanent site somewhere close to State College within the next two years.
